Hazardous substances, like asbestos, require sealed bins by law. Our bins are specialized and vary depending on the scope of work required. For general demolition purposes we can provide open topped bins for easy disposal and quick transport. In Ontario, asbestos will be disposed of in accordance with Environmental Protection Act: Regulation 347. In addition, as per the Provisional Certificate of Approval, section Terms and Conditions (4.):

“Waste shall only be delivered to a waste disposal site or facility which has a Certificate of Approval or a Provisional Certificate of Approval, and only where the waste being delivered complies with the Certificate of Approval or Provisional Certificate of Approval of the receiving waste disposal site or facility, and at no time shall waste be stored or transferred to your truck storage yard”.

Here at GT Abatement Inc., we adhere to the stringent laws set out by the Ministry of Labour to ensure the safe containment and haulage of all our hazardous waste materials.
